Frequently Asked Questions:

What is it?
It’s an opportunity to contribute to the school without having your child sell cookie dough, wrapping paper or anything else.

Why should I do it?
Because you’re busy. And you’re probably tired, over-scheduled, and ready for something to be easy. Write one check, feel good about doing your part.

Will the PTO stop hosting events?
No! We will still host our classic events like the Color Run, the Snow Ball Family Dance, Cardinals Got Talent Show, and others because these events are fun for us and the kids. But we know that not everyone wants to participate in those, so we’re giving our Piney Branch families the opportunity to choose how to engage.

How much should I give?
If each family at Piney Branch gave $46, we’d meet our fundraising goals with just this fundraiser. But the contribution amount is totally up to you. One dollar or one hundred, we appreciate any amount.

What will the PTO use the money for?
Our strategic priorities are laid out below. We are investing in tech enabled classrooms, arts, music, physical education and counseling, and our community. Our fundraising goals are also listed.

What if I want more information?
The Piney Branch PTO is all about complete transparency. Ask us anything you want. You can ask to see how we’ve spent money in the past, what our budget is or why we picked these goals. You can find us at the next PTO meeting, on Facebook or by emailing us at
