I am a native of North Carolina. I went to North Carolina State University which is the home of the Wolfpacks. I graduated with a BS in Textile Sciences. I have worked in Alabama as a Quality Supervisor for Amoco Fabrics and Fibers and then moved to Atlanta to their Research and Development Lab as a Buyer of Raw Materials and later as a Project Engineer. After working there for about 10 years, I later worked as a Process Engineer for Printpack Inc.
I left corporate America to have my two wonderful son and daughter. Once they were of school age,
I returned to school and received my teaching certificate from Mercer University and have now been teaching for 10 years. I taught in Georgia before moving to Virginia.
I have a wonderful family, love the summer and beach, enjoy traveling, and love penguins too.
I currently teach fourth grade.
