Support for Military-Connected Students

Piney Branch welcomes our military families! We hope to help ease the transition to Piney Branch for your child and provide your family support as you settle into the community. Some points of contact for our military families are below.

Please make sure you tell the office when you register that your child is military-connected. That way we can provide them a peer military-connected buddy and make sure to check in with them.

We have two clubs to provide peer support to our military-connected children. Our Purple Star Ambassadors are 4th and 5th grade students who serve as peer role models to students who are transitioning or experiencing a deployment in the family. We Aldo have our Purple Star Fun Days for all military-connected students in K-5 to build a peer community of support.
