Piney Branch has been recognized as a Virginia Naturally School for the 2025-2026 school year, its 4th year in a row. This award recognizes the efforts undertaken by Virginia schools that increase environmental awareness among the students. This past year, the Piney Branch Green Team spearheaded the effort to get storm drain covers for the parking lot and set up water pollution awareness displays around the school. Kudos to Mrs. Key and Mrs. Edwards for their efforts with the students.
